Eric Wetlaufer is a seasoned institutional investor, director, and advisor with deep expertise in integrating empirical quantitative analysis with fundamental investment principles. He provides strategic counsel to a diverse range of organizations—from large public corporations to private enterprises and family offices—primarily within the technology and financial sectors.
Eric currently serves as a Director of the TMX Group, the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), and Enterra Solutions, and advises entities across North America, Europe, and Asia. His governance experience includes a past directorship with the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and a tenure as President of the CFA Society Boston.
As founder and leader of TwinRiver Capital, an impact investment platform, Eric continues to innovate in sustainable investing. Previously, he led the CPP Investment Board’s Public Market Investments department, a global, multi-strategy platform of over 220 investment professionals managing C$180 billion across publicly traded assets and derivatives. Earlier in his career, as Group Chief Investment Officer, International, at Fidelity Investments in Boston, he greatly expanded their investment capabilities around the globe.
He holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and is certified by the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors and the Global Competent Boards and Climate Programs.
